I once heard a widow say that she only wanted to remember the good things about her late husband.

I’ve heard this a lot since losing Rod, though not as much in these last couple of years as I did at first.

Guess folks think the hard part is over.

But even in the beginning, I didn't feel strong.

What some called strong I called survival.
