We go through our days, getting things done that need to get done, hardly thinking that it might be the last time we do them. Truth is we're not prepared - or ready - to admit that possibility. Six years ago today, I was neither prepared nor ready for what this day would hold.

On April 1, 2013, I went with Rod to our family doctor to address some on-going symptoms he’d been having that seemed to be worsening. The doctor believed the problem was in his gall bladder. He sent us to the lab to draw some blood, and said he would follow up with us if the lab work confirmed his suspicions and what our next steps would be.
A recent sermon series on Habits reminded me of days gone by when FlyLady gave me tools to manage my home and young family - and keep my sanity!
